Gallery of School Activities and Events

An exhilarating outing to Castlecomer Discovery park. Thanks to our amazing student council for treating the school to a fantastic day of learning and adventure. The discovery park education team kept us on our toes and the pupils loved every minute.

Well done to our student council raising over €300.00 with their Christmas crafts and baked treats. Congratulations to all our raffle winners and thank you to everyone who supported and attended our coffee morning.

The snow arrived in Wolfhill January 2025.

Our cake sale and coffee morning was a wonderful success this year. The treats were all home baked and we had lots of guests call in for a cuppa and a chat. Thank you to our student council for organising such a successful event. They raised €270.00. Well done !

Our School Tour to Jurassic Newpark was a great day out. We saw lots of dinosaurs, identified fossils, performed science experiments and learned so much about our prehistoric friends. We had a picnic in a log cabin, raced on the go karts and bounced in the indoor bounce zone. It's safe to say we were all exhausted after such a fun-filled day out!!!

Fun in the Snow

Easter in Wolfhill N.S

We had a great build up to our Laethanta Na Cásca. We explored the strand of construction in Visual Arts using some of the wonderful nature table pieces as well as baking and procedural writing in Literacy. Cáisc Shona Daoibh.

Cumann Na mBunscol

We played three exciting games this school term against Kileen N.S, Arles N.S and Barrowhouse. The Children from second to fifth class all participated with great determination.

We had great fun particiapting in the Laois Athletics Development programme. A huge thank you to PJ Dempsey, Noel Garvan and Danny Hickey for making our final session challenging and fun !
